The cover art, set to be revealed on October 27, will feature fresh artwork by Ichigo Kanno, giving fans a glimpse of the visual tone that runs through the volume. TRIGGER shared the cover preview via its official Twitter account, posting the image alongside the pre‑order announcement on X.

Pre‑Order Details and Pricing

Night City Magazine 2 will be priced at ¥4,000 (approximately US$25). Ordering opens on the TRIGGER Online Shop at 7 PM JST on October 27 and runs through 11:59 PM JST on November 10. During the same window, the studio will also reopen pre‑orders for the original Night City Magazine and The Art of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, allowing collectors to complete their series sets.

Why a Memorial Book?

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 continues the gritty, neon‑lit saga of Night City, following a washed‑up legend named Weak and a vengeful nomad known only as D. The ten‑episode stand‑alone series explores themes of legacy, family, and the personal lenses through which we view the world. By gathering visual contributions from over a hundred creators, TRIGGER aims to capture the series’ atmosphere from multiple artistic perspectives, turning the book into both a keepsake and a celebration of the collaborative process behind the anime.

For readers unfamiliar with the franchise, the original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners debuted in 2022 as a short‑form anime set in CD Projekt Red’s cyberpunk universe. The series quickly became a cult favorite, praised for its kinetic action, emotional storytelling, and distinctive animation style. The sequel, which began streaming worldwide on Netflix in October 2026, builds on that foundation while introducing new characters and conflicts.

Fans can revisit the series’ visual evolution by exploring the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 search page, which aggregates recent news, artwork, and fan discussions. The memorial book will likely become a reference point for both casual viewers and art‑enthusiasts seeking deeper insight into the series’ design language.

Related Coverage

Earlier this year, Manga For Today reported on the global release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and its simultaneous debut across territories. That article provides context for the series’ streaming performance and critical reception, complementing the current focus on its ancillary merchandise.

As the pre‑order period approaches, TRIGGER encourages collectors to act quickly, noting that the limited‑run nature of the book may lead to rapid sell‑outs. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the studio’s kinetic animation style or a newcomer drawn in by the cyber‑future aesthetic, Night City Magazine 2 promises a richly illustrated tribute to one of the most talked‑about anime releases of the year.
