The official site for Grotesqqque, the upcoming original omnibus film by Atsushi Nishigori, has unveiled the first music video from the project. The track, titled “ZUKIZUKI,” is a collaboration between pop‑rock vocalist JUNNA and Kotoko Satō, the lead singer of the yutori rock band Kotoko Satō. Yuyoyuppe, who also contributed to the “Yoroshiku★Girl” segment, wrote the lyrics and handled the arrangement.

Fans can stream the full song now on major music platforms, and the collaboration music video is already playing on the film’s official X account. The short clip, which mixes animated snippets from the three anthology stories with live‑action performance shots, gives a taste of the film’s eclectic tone.
About Grotesqqque
Grotesqqque (originally announced as “Grotesque”) is an anthology film that weaves together three distinct narratives, each with its own visual style and musical identity:
- A(E)liens – a sci‑fi tale exploring humanity’s place among the stars.
- Yoroshiku★Girl – also known as “4649 Girl,” a pun on the Japanese reading of 4649 (よろしゅく, “yoroshiku”), meaning “nice to meet you.” The segment’s title is explained in the Shōjo lexicon.
- Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque – a nocturnal, surreal vignette set on a grotesque night.
The film is a joint venture of JOEN, a collaboration between Sony’s Aniplex, CloverWorks, Wit Studio (a sister company of Production I.G), and publisher Shueisha. Nishigori not only directs but also writes the screenplay and designs the characters, bringing the same visionary flair he showed on The IDOLM@STer and DARLING in the FRANXX.
Cast Highlights
Each story features a star‑studded voice cast. In “A(E)liens,” Kana Ichinose voices Ellie, while singer‑songwriter Gen Hoshino appears as Kento Kurikura. Veteran actor Akio Ōtsuka lends gravitas as the Space Agency Bureau Director.
“Yoroshiku★Girl” showcases a roster of young talent: Sara Minami as Stella, Ikumi Hasegawa as an unnamed “Nanashi,” and Saori Hayami as Hikarin. Additional voices include Maaya Uchida, Chika Anzai, Miyu Tomita, Rumi Ōkubo, and Rie Kugimiya.
“Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque” brings in members of the idol group Nogizaka46: Nagi Inoue (Ayame), Aruno Nakanishi (Shion), Miku Ichinose (Momo) and Nao Tomisato (Canna). (Names are presented as they appear in the official cast list.)
Music Line‑up Beyond “ZUKIZUKI”
Each segment is supported by a unique set of musical acts. “A(E)liens” features artists such as Mika Ichinose, VaVa, and Nanahira, while “Yoroshiku★Girl” brings together a diverse roster including ASCA, Reol, and the yutori vocalist Kotoko Satō herself. “Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque” rounds out the anthology with contributors like eba and Kairi Yagi.
The opening theme “Shoot Shoot Shoot” is performed by the metal‑infused group METALVERSE, and the ending theme is delivered by Haoto, with lyrics penned by momosu momosu.
