Mizuki Kishikawa announced on X on Sunday that the Hope You’re Happy, Lemon (Kuso Onna ni Sachiare) manga will end with its next chapter on September 13.
The body-swap romantic comedy follows university student Sunao Akiyoshi, who swore off love in junior high after his first love, Lemon Nishikawa, admitted to cheating. Just as he grows close to classmate Natsumi Kogahara, he runs into Lemon again and wakes up in her body one night under a shooting star, forced to navigate her life while figuring out how to switch back.
Kishikawa launched the series on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in October 2023, and the 11th volume shipped on August 4. Seven Seas publishes the manga in English and will release the fourth volume on September 15; it is also available in English on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus.
