The October issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine published the final chapterof Waka Sanada’s manga adaptation of Teika’s The Delinquent Girl Beside Me Suddenly DyedHer Hair Black light novel series on Wednesday. The fourth and final compiled book volumewill ship in late November.
One Peace Books is publishing the series in English and describes the story:
Why is the toughest girl in school trying to be my type?!
“My type? A girl with long black hair who carries herselfwell.”
That’s what I told my friends during a casual conversationabout romance. The very next day, Shimizu— the blonde delinquent who sits next to me— suddenly shows up with her hair dyed black. Waka Sanada launched the manga adaptation in Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine in August 2024. Kadokawa shipped the third compiled book volume on February 25.
Teika published the web novel on the Kakuyomu website. Kadokawa shipped the fourth novel in March 2025. Hamu is credited with the character designs.
