Shogakukan’s Ciao magazine revealed Thursday that creator Nao Maita will launch a new, as-yet-untitled manga in the issue going on sale December 28, without disclosing further details about the project.
The same announcement confirmed the finale of Maita’s ongoing series Shining!, running since July 2023, with its tenth and final volume set for December 25 following the ninth volume’s release in July.
Maita’s earlier works include Otona wa Wakattekurenai. (2019-2023) and the award-winning Age 12, which ran from 2012 to 2019 and won Best Children’s Manga at the 2019 Shogakukan Manga Awards before inspiring a 2016 TV anime and further video releases.
