Kakao Entertainment confirmed Friday that Crocodile, a new action-noir webtoon pairing writer MEEN with Hellbound artist Kyoo-seok Choi, will begin serialization on Kakao Page starting September 5—the first project the two have created together.
Set in Busan, the series follows In-hoo Jung as he’s released from prison after a decade behind bars for murder, only to be drawn back into the orbit of his victim’s family when the widow asks him to protect her son, setting up a story that weaves revenge and redemption through a gritty, character-focused noir lens.
MEEN has built a reputation in the genre through works like Tong, Blood Rain and the Dokgo series, alongside Crime Puzzle and Price of Violence on Tapas, while Choi previously co-created Hellbound with director Sang-ho Yeon; that title remains available to read on WEBTOON.
