Returning cast includes Kenji Akabane as protagonist Lugh, Reina Ueda as Dia, Yuki Takada as Tart and Shino Shimoji as Maha, with director Masafumi Tamura, writer Katsuhiko Takayama, character designer Eri Nagata and composer Kenichi Kuroda all back at studio SILVER LINK.
Based on Rui Tsukiyo and Reia’s light novels, licensed in English by Yen Press, the story imagines a master assassin reborn into a fantasy world where he combines his old-world skills with local magic to become an unmatched killer. The first anime season aired in October 2021; a manga adaptation by Hamao Sumeragi has run on Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up since January 2019.
