Crunchyroll quietly added an English dub for the 17-minute Saga of Tanya the Evil special Operation Desert Pasta this week, though the listing does not yet credit a dub cast or staff; the short originally debuted at a 2021 livestream event before joining Crunchyroll’s library that same month.
The addition comes as the franchise’s second season, which began airing in Japan on AT-X and several affiliated channels in July, continues alongside a companion mini-anime airing after each episode. Yen Press publishes Carlo Zen and Shinobu Shinotsuki’s original light novels in English, following former corporate-drone-turned-child-soldier Tanya Degurechaff as she claws her way through a war-torn alternate world using ruthless pragmatism and battle magic.
