Obey Me! FranchiseRemoves Voice Actor Miura Ayme Due to Alleged Contact With Underage Fan

NTT Solmare and the staff for the Obey Me! franchise announced on Monday that they have mutually decided to remove voice actor Miura Ayme from therole of the character Asmodeus in the franchise due to them confirming through an investigation that Ayme allegedly had private contact with a fan "believed to be" under the age of 18 at the time. The announcement noted that while "no sexual contact was confirmed," the contact still "crossed the professional boundaries expected of our cast members."

The announcement further noted that the staff will continue Asmodeus' story in the franchise, and will shareplans on re-casting of the character (including in the upcoming Obey Me! Sinner's Choice: Lucifer game) and in-game voice updates at a later date.

The original romancesimulation mobile game Obey Me! – One Master to Rule Them All centers on a human who is selected to become an exchange student at RAD, a school for demons. Awaiting the protagonist are seven demon brothers each with a unique personality. The game app by NTT Solmare Corporation is part of the overall Shall We Date? series of otome games.

The game inspired an anime that debuted with English subtitles on the official YouTube channel for the Obey Me! game app in July 2021. Funimation also streamed the anime, and it describesthe story:

Ayme previously attended Anime Expo alongside other Obey Me! cast members in July 2025 as part of a fan meeting.
