DMM Pictures released a subtitled teaser trailer for the television anime adapting Nikumura Q’s comedy manga Giant Ojo-sama, unveiling its main voice cast alongside additional crew members.
Hiroshi Ikehata (WITCH WATCH) directs at Tatsunoko Production, with Hajime Mitsuda serving as character designer and chief animation director and Yu Sato handling series composition and scripts.
The story follows Oriko Fujido, heir to an immensely wealthy family, who was gifted an entire town for her fourth birthday; when a giant invader attacks that town years later, her butler Sebastian gives her a potion that turns her into a giant herself, leaving her to protect the town while risking accidentally destroying it in the process.
Nikumura Q has serialized the manga on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry since July 2020, reaching 12 collected volumes as of August; the series was a finalist for the 2022 Next Manga Awards and placed fifth in AnimeJapan’s 2023 poll of most-wanted anime adaptations.
