Manga creator Mizuki Hoshino announced on Friday that their Fukakoryoku no I Love You (I Love You by Force Majeure) will go on hiatus due to poor health, with a return to be announced later.
The romance follows first-year high school student Sena Kodama, who tries to suppress her feelings for the school heartthrob and upperclassman Wataya but keeps getting swept up by his charm, eventually agreeing to a “try-out date” with him.
Hoshino launched the series in Shueisha’s Margaret magazine in August 2023. The first volume came out in November 2023 and the ninth on June 25. Hoshino’s earlier series Tiger & Dragon ran in Bessatsu Margaret from February 2022 to April 2023 across four volumes, all of which Seven Seas released in English.
