Veteran artist Yoshitaka Amano, celebrated for his work on Vampire Hunter D, the Final Fantasy series and his collaboration with Neil Gaiman on Sandman: The Dream Hunters, is set to receive a lifetime achievement honor from the Concept Art Awards, recognizing a career that began at age 15 when he joined Tatsunoko Production.
Amano remains active across multiple current projects, including the GIBIATE PROJECT anime he co-developed, character designs for Netflix’s Exception, and an upcoming limited series titled ZAN based on his DEVA ZAN artwork, developed through his newly established Los Angeles studio Yoshitaka Amano Inc.
