The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life — October 6
P.A.WORKS revealed the main trailer, a new visual, three more cast members and an October 6, 2026 premiere for The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage (Chii Fuyo). The fantasy series follows Rein Garland, an enchantment mage expelled from his guild after years spent strengthening its equipment. He responds by reclaiming every enhancement he ever placed on his former comrades’ gear and setting out to discover what his ability can really do.

Hotel Inhumans Season 2 — October 4
The sequel to Hotel Inhumans revealed a new visual and a trailer carrying both theme songs. GAN performs the opening, “Rasen,” and Phantom Siita sings the ending, “Sweet Pea.” It begins October 4.

Magic Repo Man — October 3
Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest unveiled a trailer, theme songs and a new cast member. BUDDiiS performs the opening “Risk rate,” Kotani the ending “Iremono,” and Daisuke Namikawa joins as Roger. SynergySP animates; it premieres October 3.

Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden — October 6
Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden released a new trailer. HIDIVE streams it from October 6 across two consecutive cours, with KONAMI Animation producing.

Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things — October 4
The adaptation of Tsutomu‘s manga Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki revealed a trailer, theme songs and four more cast members, premiering October 4 in Japan. The opening is “LIKE³” by Yusei Yagi; the ending is “Totoi♡Kaiwai” by Kaori Maeda.

Dark Machine the Animation — October 13
Dark Machine the Animation added three cast members — Nao Toyama as Aluk, Nonoka Obuchi as Denebola and Rei Nakashima as Spica, all of Team Stellatus — ahead of its October 13 premiere.

The project is a mixed-media effort tied to a Web3 mech game, first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2024. The story centers on Kairi, who travels to the Golden Valley economic zone built around the Dark Machine esports game.
Firefly Wedding — October 9
Firefly Wedding revealed a new key visual at an advance screening at United Cinema Toyosu on September 6, where Episodes 1–3 played for cast members Lynn, Koki Uchiyama and Kento Ito. It premieres October 9.

Oreco Tachibana‘s manga runs on Shogakukan’s MangaONE app, has surpassed 4.5 million copies across 12 volumes and won the 2024 Digital Comic Award. Satoko, told she has little time to live, is kidnapped and impulsively proposes marriage to the assassin Shinpei — who takes the promise seriously.
Ace of the Diamond Act II Second Season, 2nd Cour — October 11
The second cour of Ace of the Diamond Act II Second Season revealed a new key visual and cast addition Daisuke Sakuma (Snow Man) as Shinichiro Saotome, debuting October 11. The first cour aired April–June 2026.

Thunder 3 — new key visual (currently airing)
Not an October premiere but part of the same promotional push: the ongoing Thunder 3, streaming on Netflix since July 8, 2026, released a new key visual spotlighting its three leads.
