The official site for the short anime adapting Shaoh’s fantasy-romance manga I’m Dating a Dark Summoner released its main trailer Friday, revealing two additional cast members and confirming an October 4 television premiere on Tokyo MX, with a BS11 broadcast to follow October 7.
Akane Nishimura joins as swordswoman and party leader Haru and Maya Ayahane as elf archer Eury, alongside previously cast leads Rei Takano as dark summoner Amona and Yuki Nishiyama as cleric Roni. Ringo Coisio performs the opening theme “Zettai Kansei Kisei Jijitsu,” while Mao Komiya sings the ending track.
The story follows Amona, a demi-human who channels demonic power, as she joins Roni’s adventuring party and the two unexpectedly grow close. Seiya Miyajima directs and writes the series at studio AtoriE for WWWave Corporation’s Deregula label, with HIDIVE set to stream it abroad; the source manga has run in Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Sharp# since 2021.
