Known for Mary Kimpride and the well-received Akimbo, artist Djiguito returns with a new work, SHERIFF BOY, seemingly set in the same universe as his previous titles. Produced and supervised by Luchisco and Sorae Prod, it's due in October, currently funded through a preorder crowdfunding campaign on Ulule. A convention regular known for his instantly recognizable, slightly caricatured art style, Djiguito describes this one as an unhinged Western riff on the film Home Alone, following a young boy forced into big responsibilities and a test of his sense of justice, blending action, comedy, and sharp social commentary as in Akimbo. Planned as a roughly 250-page A5 book with several color pages and a gallery of guest fanart, it follows Dustin Kimber, who plays acting sheriff in his father's absence.
