Delcourt/Tonkam posted an online preview of its Perfect edition of the now-cult manga Alice in Borderland, with volume 1 due July 9. A major favorite when first published in France (2013-2017), the series gained international fame through its Netflix drama adaptation (three seasons, 2020, 2022, and 2025). The new edition compiles the original 18 volumes into 9 double volumes. Created by Haro Aso for Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday magazines (2011-2016), the survival series follows three friends thrust into a deadly parallel Japan, praised for its well-drawn characters, cleverly designed death games, constant tension, and strong human reflections on life, death, and society; two prior spin-offs have also been published in France.
