Pika Edition and its children's imprint nobi nobi! announced they will discontinue print sales of several catalog titles starting September 1. Except for nobi nobi!'s Big Hero 6, Cruella, and The Count of Monte Cristo manga, all discontinued titles will remain available digitally. A discontinuation means the publisher can no longer sell, reprint, or send out review copies of the physical book once existing stock is exhausted or too low to justify reprinting, though digital rights (separate from print rights) can allow the ebook to remain on sale. Titles affected include the complete 8-volume Lethal Experiment, the complete 4-volume Journey to the Center of the Earth, the complete 6-volume The Immune Brigades, the complete 3-volume Pitch-Black Ten, and The World of Summoning, among others.
