Bandai Namco unveiled a new trailer for Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, releasing August 28, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch. The game will include a new Story Mode called 'New Stars' where players create a character and join the Japanese national team alongside Tsubasa Ozora, a 'Legendary/Advanced' mode with new storylines supervised by series creator Yoichi Takahashi, a 'Rivals' mode focused on opposing players worldwide, deep player/team customization, and standard training and match modes.
