A highly anticipated Vega release, the manga Wicked Spot launches June 5 with a bonus: an exclusive dust jacket free with the purchase of volume 1 at participating bookstores while supplies last. Only one volume long in Japan so far, this 2024 series was among the first titles in Kadokawa's digital magazine Candle A, created by Sal Jiang, previously known for short yuri-focused stories. The publisher promises a queer, feminist genre-bender blending yuri and witchcraft, following a modern witch who steps out of the shadows to become an influencer, seeking to finally be seen and loved — until revealing her true nature blurs the line between admiration and hatred.
