This year’s ninth issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine announced on Tuesday that Etorouji Shiono’s Übel Blatt II: Knights of the FallenKing (Übel Blatt II: Shiseru Ō no Kishidan) manga will end in the manga’s next chapter. The manga will take a break next month, and will end in this year’s 11th issue of Monthly Big Gangan on October 23.
Yen Press licensed the manga, and it describes the story:
Shiono launched the sequel manga in Monthly Big Gangan magazine in February 2024. Square Enix published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume on April 24. MangaUP! Global is also releasing the manga in English digitally.
Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine began serializing Shiono’s original Übel Blatt manga in 2004. In 2011, a side story manga titled Übel Blatt Gaiden ran in Young Gangan Big, the spinoff of theYoung Gangan. After a two-year hiatus, the main series returned to Big Gangan magazine in2011. The 23rd and final compiled book volume shipped in Japan in June 2019. Yen Press hasreleased all of Übel Blatt in English, and is also releasing the manga in 3-in-1 omnibuseditions. Manga UP! added the original Übel Blatt manga in December 2023.
Thetelevision anime of the manga debuted in January 2025. The anime streamed worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. The anime received an English dub in April 2025.
