This month, Taifu Comics publishes the first volume of the boy's love series The Traitor's Serenade in France at 9.35 euros starting June 26. Running in Japan since 2022 in Libre's Be x Boy GOLD with four volumes so far, it's the French debut and second series of mangaka Mottasu Tonoka. Blending action, mystery, eroticism, and humor, the publisher promises an enemies-to-lovers story set amid a stylish, early-20th-century Italian mafia power struggle. It follows Gino, a traditionalist heir to the Gardino family's port-city criminal empire, and his rival Dante, who leads a rebellious faction seeking change — until Dante uncovers a devastating secret about his childhood friend and rival, and makes him an unexpected, very direct proposition in exchange for his silence.
