Shueisha is listing a novel for Ippon Takegushi and Santa Mitarashi's Shinobi Undercover (Shinobigoto) manga titled Shinobigoto A Day in the Life BIRDS, with a slatedrelease date of September 4. Kiyoko Hoshi is wiring the novel.
Viz Media isreleasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Yodaka's worst nightmare comes true when his job as a Public Safety ninja forces him to go to high school and even worse…talk to people! When it comes to combat, his skills are off the charts. Whenit comes to social interaction, he completely falls apart. But things take an unexpectedturn when he discovers that talking to Aoi Mukai, the girl he's assigned to guard, is surprisingly easy. The first day of school is tough for most, but when you're an awkward ninjatasked with secretly guarding a total klutz by the name of Aoi, it's absolutely daunting! Takegushi and Mitarashi launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in September 2024. Shueisha released the manga's eighth compiled book volume on June 4, and will release the ninthvolume on September 4. Viz Media released the manga's second volume on August 4.
