Imagineer announced on Friday that it will release the Medabots S game worldwide for iOS and Android and has opened pre-registration; the App Store listing gives a release date of January 21, 2027.
The game originally launched in Japan as Medarot S: Unlimited Nova in January 2020. Imagineer previously brought Medabots Survivors to a global audience on February 25 and released Medarot Card Robattle RB for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 25.
The Medabots franchise began as a game series and inspired a 1999 TV anime by Bee Train and the 2000 sequel Medabots Spirits, both of which aired in North America on Fox Kids and ABC Family. Delta Arts, the studio behind many recent Medabots games, closed in April 2016.
