Following an earlier announcement for Delcourt/Tonkam's Moonlight collection, the French release of Strand now has a confirmed date: volume 1 on July 9 at 8.50 euros, with the French cover and an online preview also revealed. This five-volume series reunites writer Number 8 (Blue Giant Momentum, Salaryman Z), serialized in Japan in 2024-2025 in Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday, paired with debut artist Ryohei Masuko. The publisher describes a coming-of-age story set in a world suddenly deprived of electricity, where every choice can make you a savior or an executioner. It follows four high schoolers, each carrying their own flaws and doubts, whose world is upended when an electromagnetic attack cuts off the country's power and communications, forcing them to confront hard choices about how to survive.
