Detective Conan: The Private Eyes' Requiem Manga Ends in September

The October issue of Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday S magazine revealed on Tuesday that Yutaka Abe and Jirō Maruden's manga adaptation of Detective Conan: The Private Eyes' Requiem, the 10th anime film in the franchise, will end in the magazine's next issue in September.

Abe and Maruden launched the manga in Shōnen Sunday S on February 24.

Abe and Maruden previously drew manga adaptations of other filmsin the franchise.

Detective Conan: Highway no Datenshi (Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway), the franchise's 29th and latest film, opened in Japan on April 10. The film sold 2,318,009 tickets and earned 3,502,137,800 yen (about US$21.9 million) inits first three days, making a new opening-weekend record for the franchise, and debutingat #1 at the Japanese box office.
