Mangetsu's flagship sports manga Ao Ashi, which concluded in Japan last year, is entering its final stretch in France. As a treat for fans, starting with volume 35 (released last month) through the series' 40th and final volume, each will include a collector's card sealed under the blister packaging. Volume 35 of Yugo Kobayashi's soccer series is due in French on September 16, and the second season of its anime adaptation premieres October 4, 2026. The story follows Aoi Ashito, a naturally gifted but impulsive soccer player from Ehime prefecture who is scouted by Tokyo Esperion FC's U18 director and sets off, with little money or knowledge of professional training, on a journey that could take him to the top of Japanese football.
