Doki-Doki announced the acquisition of An Invisible Love, a promising inclusive romance due August 19 at 7.95 euros. Originally a single-volume light novel by Shima Nanigashi (illustrated by raemz), which won Japan's GA Bunko Awards Grand Prize and placed third in the 2024 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi rankings, its manga adaptation by hat. began in 2024 on Square Enix's Manga Up! (one volume so far, four planned). The publisher promises an authentic, hopeful romance between two very different students — one of whom is blind and part of a university disability-inclusion program — offering a well-researched, optimistic look at how visual impairment is treated in Japan; a live-action adaptation already exists in Japan.
