Publisher Akata announced that several titles will go out of print starting September 30, 2026, after years in its catalog. Some volumes remain available in stores and online while supplies last; readers are encouraged to complete their collections before then, since no reprints will be legally possible afterward, leaving only the secondhand market. Information on whether digital versions will remain available will be announced later. The discontinued titles include the manga series Bathtub Brothers, Bienvenue au Club, Bienvenue chez Protect, Billion Dogs, Bloody Delinquent Girl Chainsaw, Comme un Adieu, Duellistes – Knight of Flower, Freaks' Café, Journal d'une Fangirl, Le Goût des Retrouvailles, Les Nuits d'Akşehir, Made in Heaven, Pillow Bear, Samurai Comeback, Virgin Dog Revolution, and World War Demons, as well as the novels Ce Qu'il N'est Pas, the two Darius le Grand novels, and Mawaru Penguindrum.
