The staff for Aniplex, A-1 Pictures and Psyde Kick Studio’s original anime Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus revealed a new promotional video and key visual for the Circus Collection arc on Saturday. The arc began with the show’s 10th episode the same day.
Set during Japan’s postwar economic boom of the late 1950s and early 1960s, the story follows the financially struggling Sunflower Circus troupe, led by ringmaster Maria, as it tours the country and competes for a place at the prestigious “Circus Collection” festival after meeting circus prodigy Mizuka Tsurumaki.
Kanta Kamei is directing, with Kurehito Misaki as original character designer and Takeshi Kikuchi writing and overseeing the scripts. NOMELON NOLEMON performs the opening theme “Yurari Yureru” and the Aooo unit performs the ending “DAYS!” The series premiered in July on Tokyo MX, BS11 and other channels, with Crunchyroll streaming it and an English dub. A-1 Pictures established the Psyde Kick Studio label in July 2025 to give younger creators more creative freedom.
