Delcourt/Tonkam announced the acquisition of The Archangel of Decapitation, a five-volume series due in France in late 2026 (further details pending). Originally serialized in Japan in 2022-2023 across Coamix's digital magazines Comic Tatan and Web Comic Zenyon, it's written by Sora Karin and drawn by Mero (Mellow) Meiji, both making their French debut despite established careers in Japan. This historical drama set during the French Revolution offers a portrait of the notorious Saint-Just, who turned France into a vast guillotine in the name of ideals, sending numerous nobles — including Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette — to their deaths.
