Bandai Namco released a new trailer detailing the combat mechanics of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, due in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The video highlights the game's central 'Connection' system, letting players build their own fighter and strengthen bonds with iconic Dragon Ball heroes to inherit their attacks and fighting styles. Other new features shown include Soul Assist (summoning a guardian for support attacks), Soul Change (temporarily embodying a legendary hero), an Awakening system for race-specific transformations like Super Saiyan, and team battles with squads of up to four members.
