Kachou Hashimoto's manga Arbos Anima (also known for Cagaster), on hiatus in Japan since its 5th volume in December 2018 and consequently stalled in its French release at Glenat since May 2019, is finally getting a 6th and final volume in France on August 26 at 7.20 euros — never released in Japan by original publisher Tokuma Shoten, since the series became a self-published project the author continued at her own pace, finishing it in April and now distributing it herself digitally and at conventions. Set in 19th-century Southeast Asia, the series follows plant hunter Noah, who can sync with plants' memories, and his ex-pirate bodyguard Rudyard as they search the world for rare specimens amid greedy merchants and ruthless collectors.
