Disney+ announced that Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation will return in December with its second season, Episode of Savanaclaw, sharing a new key visual alongside the announcement. The core staff from the first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, returns, with animation production by Yumeta Company and Graphinica, direction and script supervision by Takahiro Natori, screenplay by Yoichi Kato, and character designs by Hanaka Nakano and Akane Sato based on original designs by mangaka Yana Toboso. The anime is planned to span three seasons based on both the original video game and its manga adaptations (published in France by nobi nobi!). In the original game's story, the player is summoned through a magic mirror to Twisted Wonderland and enrolls at the prestigious Night Raven College, discovering that its talented but dysfunctional students are constantly caught up in rivalries and conflict.
