Taifu Comics' Crispy Love collection, dedicated to teen's love (erotic manga aimed at a female audience), is adding a new one-shot this week: The Calligraphy Master. Originally serialized in Japan in 2022-2023 in Takeshobo's Renai Paradise magazine, the manga will be released in French on June 28 at 8.50 euros, marking artist Yamatomi's first French publication of an original story by Rikka Saijo, also previously unpublished in France. The story follows Haruka, devastated after her childhood friend and presumed fiancé betrays her, who tries to move on by joining a group calligraphy-themed dating event. There, after an awkward encounter with another participant, she's rescued by Eiyuki, a talented and charismatic calligraphy teacher, and her admiration for his skill and dedication soon turns to romantic interest as she enrolls in his classes; an accidental collision in a hallway later leads to an unplanned kiss, which Haruka admits was her first.
