The manga Rokudenashi BLUES: Onizakura, a spin-off of Masanori Morita's legendary Rokudenashi BLUES focusing on characters Onizuka and Kasai, was expected to launch in Grand Jump magazine this summer but has been delayed to winter 2026 or early 2027. Additionally, artist Boichi, originally set to illustrate the spin-off, has been replaced by Yuki Yoshimoto, known in Japan for Ghost in the Shell: The Human Algorithm; no official reason was given for the change. In the meantime, the original Rokudenashi BLUES is now fully available again in France as a 25-volume Masterpiece edition from Pika Edition, following the story of troublemaker Taison Maeda and his friends at Teiken high school.
