French publisher Mangetsu announced it will release a new artbook dedicated to horror manga master Junji Ito. The Art of Junji Ito Collection is a 232-page book featuring hundreds of exclusive documents exploring the creation of the first anime series adapted from Ito's works. Combining visual collection, analysis, and collector's item, the book should appeal to both longtime Junji Ito fans and readers curious about his influence on contemporary animation and horror. It offers exclusive behind-the-scenes concept art, storyboards, and commentary, spotlighting iconic characters such as Tomie, Souichi, and Fuchi. The book is scheduled for release on September 10 at a price of 34.95 euros.
