The store willclose at its current location after Wednesday August 19 and then open at the new locationon Saturday August 22. It will be closed on the Thursday and Friday this week.
The pop-up is the first Animate store to appear in the UK. Animate Ltd's Japanese stores include one in the Tokyo district of Ikebukuro, which was certified by Guinness World Record in March 2024 as the world's largest anime shop/store.
