Crunchyroll announced on Saturday it will stream the television anime of storywriter Demunyan and artist Daisuki Tansan's FX Fighter Kurumi-chan (FX Senshi Kurumi-chan) manga, the television anime of Tsutomu's Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (Older Men Like Cute Things) manga, and the television anime adaptation of author Jeho Son and artist ZHENA webtoon series ELECEED in India.
FX Fighter Kurumi-chan will debut in October.
Aina Suzuki will star in the anime as Kurumi Fukuga.
Yūki Ogawa (Ōya-san wa Shishunki!, Mieruko-chan, Miru Tights) is directing the anime at Passione. Kenta Ihara (Blue Miburo, Sentenced to Be a Hero) is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Kazuyuki Ueda (BanG Dream! (TV 2), Love Flops, Hinako Note) is the character designer, and Takurō Iga (Oshi no Ko, Trillion Game) is composing the music.
The mangacenters on Kurumi Fukuka, a college student who will make her debut on the foreign exchange market in order to recover the 20 million yen (about US$126,000) her late mother lost in that market. She believes that it will be easy to get back that money, and with that goal in mind, she jumps into a world where things can turn from heaven to hell in an instant. Unrealized losses and loss-cutting, a racing heart that won't stop… Despite this, she wants to buy, sell, and earn. She is joined by other "FX fighters," and the market heats up. Kurumi continues to play a cute and slightly dangerous money gameas charts swing back and forth. Can Kurumi and her friends survive in this raging world?
The duo launched the manga in Kadokawa's Comic Flapper magazine in February 2021. Kadokawa released the ninth volume in Japan on January 22.
Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. will debut on October 4. Crunchyroll will stream the anime under the title Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things.
Tomoe Makino (The Moon on a Rainy Night; Kotaro Lives Alone; Please Put Them On, Takamine-san!) is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. Yū Satō (Kotaro Lives Alone; Sorairo Utility; Please Put Them On, Takamine-san!) isin charge of series composition. Tomomi Kimura (Kotaro Lives Alone) is designing the characters. Takamasa Nakakuki is the art director, while Akira Hashigami is the color key artist. Tomoya Hosaka is the director of photography, while Kiyomi Yamada is the editor. Fumihiko Ōtera is the sound director, and Magic Capsule is credited for sound production. ArisaOkehazama is composing the music. YTE is credited for music production, and Futokoro Gatana is credited for music production assistance.
The manga centers on Mitsutaka Oji, a 40-year-old man who by all appearances is attractive and cool and is excellent athis job. However, he has a secret: he absolutely loves small and cute things. The comedymanga follows his everyday life.
Tsutomu launched the manga on Flex Comics' Comic Polis service in July 2017. Flex Comics released the 11th compiled volume on February14. The 12th volume will ship on August 7. The 13th volume, listed as the final volume, will ship on October 15.
The manga previously inspired a live-action television adaptation in 2020.
Hiroshi Nishikiori (IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYONDTHE PERiOD, Honey Lemon Soda) is directing the anime at DandeLion Animation Studio (The First Slam Dunk). Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia) is writing and overseeing the series scripts. Minami Sakura (Gridman Universe) is the character designer.
