The October issue of Kodansha's Dessert magazine announced on Monday that Coco Uzuki's Fall in Love, You False Angels (Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo) manga will enter a hiatus, due to the creator's health, and also so she can adjust her workload. The series will return in the January 2027-cover-dated issue in November.
Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga, and it describes the story:
Uzuki debuted the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazinein April 2023. The seventh compiled book volume shipped in Japan on June 12.
The manga won the Shōjo category in the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2025, earned a nomination for the Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2025, and ranked in the top 20 on the list of manga for female readers for Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook in multiple years.
Animation studio MAPPA announced in June that it is producing a television anime adaptation for next year.
