Following xxxHolic, Tokyo Babylon, and Clamp School Detectives, the fourth CLAMP series to return to France via Pika Edition's Clamp Universe collection is the legendary, still-unfinished X. A landmark of 1990s shojo manga for its dark, tragic, psychological take on apocalypse and ecology (and adapted into a 1996 film by Rintaro and a 2001 anime series), X ran in Kadokawa's Monthly Asuka from 1992 and was meant to span 21 volumes, but stopped at 18 in 2002 after creative disputes between the authors and publisher over the ending. The new French edition will include volume 18.5, compiling five additional chapters never before published in France, and the series remains deeply tied to Tokyo Babylon, continuing several of its characters' stories.
