One of Vega's standout 2025 releases (currently in the semifinals of the site's 1st Seinen Tournament 2025), Sounds of Vinyl gets a two-volume spin-off in France, also in the Alpha collection. The 'Side A' volume, focused on everyday-life stories, arrives July 3 at 14 euros in a square 18.2×18.2cm format echoing a 45rpm vinyl sleeve, with a more fantastical 'Side B' volume expected later. Created by Ryochiro Kezuka (his first professional series, running in Japan since 2021 in Kadokawa's Aokishi with three volumes), the original series offers a nostalgic journey through vinyl and music via brief, memorable encounters; the spin-off follows a quiet Tokyo record store clerk and the customers she meets.
