Vega confirmed, in response to a social media comment, its acquisition of the manga Tamon's Queer Friends for French-speaking markets, joining the publisher's large-format (15x21cm) Alpha collection with volume 1 due September 18 at 12.50 euros. The debut series of mangaka Toi Yoh, this two-volume LGBT+ slice-of-life ran in Japan in 2024-2025 in Enterbrain/Kadokawa's Comic Beam. Set in present-day Osaka, it follows high school senior Utsui, raised in a queer family where loving whoever you want is fully accepted, who nonetheless struggles with her own inability to feel romantic love — and grows close to Tamon, a strange person who talks to supernatural beings only they can see.
