French animator Nicolas Jaffre, who has worked as a key animator on hits including Boruto, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan (and was recently a character designer on the Dreamland anime adaptation), launches his first manga, Supernova, at Kana starting September 18 at 8.10 euros per volume. The publisher describes this original adventure series as a reflective story following a bailiff protagonist questioning the state he serves. Set in a fantasy world where magic power is granted via gold nuggets, it follows Archie, expected to become an elite guardian but forced instead into the role of court bailiff, as he tries to uncover where true justice lies between the state's official narrative and the debt-crushed population's reality.
