The protagonist, Gongja Kim, begins as an under‑powered F‑rank hunter who idolizes the top‑tier Flame Emperor. His destiny shifts when he allies with the Sword Emperor and obtains a rare S‑rank ability—one that activates only upon his death, forcing him to confront a deadly gamble.
