Meian announced the French acquisition of the manga The Condemned Villainess Goes Back in Time, with its first two volumes releasing simultaneously September 18 at 7.95 euros each. Based on a light novel by Bakufu Narayama (illustrated by Ebisushi, unpublished in France), the manga adaptation by Rat Kitaguni began in 2022 in TO Books' Comic Corona magazine and now has eight volumes. The publisher promises a heroine who relies on intelligence, political savvy, and hard-won cunning rather than magic or luck. Duke's daughter Claudia, engaged to the crown prince, is betrayed by her half-sister Hermina, stripped of her rank, and sold to a brothel — but refuses to disappear, instead clawing her way back up through strategy rather than force.
