While acclaimed mangaka Hisae Iwaoka (The Enchanted Forest of Hoshigahara, Saturn Apartments) was a Japan Expo guest, Rue de Sevres and its Le Renard Dore imprint announced they will publish another of her works in France: Struck to the Heart, a one-shot originally released in Japan in January 2017 (serialized in 2016 in Nemuki+). Blending slice-of-life, romance, and the supernatural, it celebrates life's small everyday joys and arrives in France November 4 at 9.90 euros in the imprint's usual large format. It follows Mikumo and Yano, irresistibly drawn to each other but unable to confess their feelings, until the quirky spirits haunting their respective shops team up to push them together.
