The restoration premiered earlier this year at the Berlin Film Festival; tickets for the October run go on sale September 10.

A collaboration visual pairs the lead couples of currently-airing The Ogre’s Bride (which began July 4) and the upcoming Bride of the Barrier Master — two similarly-titled supernatural romance series sharing a promotional moment ahead of the latter’s debut.

Medialink Entertainment will release Eiga Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu (Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of Mermaid Island) — the first Chiikawa anime film — in the Philippines on September 30. Whisper of the Heart returns to UK cinemas

Ushijima the Loan Shark gets a one-shot, 10 years after the manga ended
Shohei Manabe is drawing a new one-shot for Ushijima the Loan Shark, a decade after the original series concluded. The one-shot will run 34 pages in a combined issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits, alongside an exhibition for the manga held September 19 through October 4.
