A new manga joins Vega's Alpha collection on July 3: Afternoon Rays, a 274-page one-shot at 12.50 euros in large 15x21cm format, originally serialized in Japan in 2024 on Kadokawa's Kadocomi site, marking the debut work of mangaka Minamine. This dramatic, boy's-love-tinged slice-of-life centers on two teenagers scarred by their respective traumas who find fragments of light together during a dark period. It follows Yodoi, struggling with a difficult family situation at home, and Murase, who cannot control his compulsions when exposed to violent imagery after a traumatic event; after Yodoi steps in to defend Murase during a violent attack, the two become friends and slowly get to know each other through their shared wounds.
