Panini announced the acquisition of Teenager Rampage!, the latest series by Ken Sogen (Nakano Boogie-Woogie), due in France September 2 at 8.29 euros. Running in Japan since 2024 in Futabasha's Manga Action with six volumes so far, this deliberately irreverent coming-of-age story departs from typical school-life narratives to explore heavier themes — social isolation, bullying, drug use, and more — through the mindset of a high schooler driven by impulse and its consequences, balancing dark drama with everyday humor. It follows Maruo Higurashi, a frustrated high schooler grappling with sexual urges.
