After a Japan Expo preview, Meian announced the French acquisition of the fantasy manga Sono Mono. Nochi ni…, with its first two volumes releasing September 25 at 7.95 euros each. Originally a light novel by Nahato (illustrated by Miya Kazutomo, unpublished in France) since 2015, a first manga adaptation was abandoned after one volume in 2017; the second adaptation, by Shinichiro Nariie, began in 2018 on Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star Online and has six volumes, though it has been on hiatus since 2022. The publisher promises a warm blend of adventure, humor, and romance centered on an overpowered but humble, awkward hero navigating a world of monsters, dragons, elves, and magic — Wazu, a heartbroken but unmatched fighter whose only weakness is romance.
